SaveHudsonNH has recently hired two University of Massachusetts Lowell to research, interview, and write articles and case studies about how logistic centers impact their neighboring communities. Get to know them below!
Cassandra Milnes is a rising sophomore in the English journalism and professional writing department at UMass Lowell. She has an environmental background from four years in Natural Resource Management at an agricultural school. Her media background is due to her position as Social Media Manager at the UML Connector and Marketing Assistant for Manning School of Business. She looks forward to helping stop the distribution warehouses from ruining a beautiful landscape and the area around it.
Andrew is a rising senior in the department of Journalism and Professional Writing at UMass Lowell. Andrew has a background in communications and professional writing, and worked as the operations assistant for the UMass Lowell Innovation Hub in Haverhill until recently. Andrew has always advocated for worker’s rights and has a passion for environmental activism, and is excited to have a role helping protect Hudson’s green space for Save Hudson.
